Guatemala produces some of the world’s finest and most distinctive coffees. It is grown at elevations between 3,000 and 4500 feet above see level making it Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) and it tends to have a soft aroma with a full body and clean fruity notes and a gentle acidity. There are eight growing regions, each one inspired by diverse climate and soil. They all have unique characteristics that contribute to a wide assortment of flavours.

JEWEL & KONG COFFEE

JEWEL & KONG’s distinctive coffee is made from 100% Arabica beans grown in the highlands of Guatemala’s volcanic regions. The perfect combination of climate, rainfall, altitude, and volcanic soil ensures the delivery of our single-origin coffee range.

JEWEL & KONG have close relationships with several “fincas” as well as our own plantation in the Fraijanes region, producing high-grade coffee since 1985.

TASTING NOTES

Our coffee has a velvety mouth feel and a pleasant finish. Has a medium to full body and lots of chocolate flavour notes and with hints of nutty and sweet tones.

Its geographic conditions help to create exceptional coffees with a distinct acidity and fruity flavours.

Origin: Guatemala

Known for its piquant acidity making it one of the most intense varieties in Guatemala.

JK ACATENANGO (new)

Origin: Guatemala

Known for producing aromatic, clean and balanced coffees, partly due to the active nearby volcano that keeps replenishing the soil with minerals.
